I love the pics. Do ubo grow wild like mushrooms? They look like green onions,are they? What are thw plantings in the backgeound, Ubo? fantasy~jane
I meant the not thw! oops!
Hi fantasy-jane - I cannot describe their taste at the moment - it is not as strong as an onion, but yes they do grow wild - the top parts are used in the flavourings, but I guess the stalk is as well.
They are Irises in the background. The park is famous for them. I'll take some photos when they come out! :)
